Hello
Hi,
I'm Tom and am yet another CoG refugee, only been with them for about 7 weeks though (so I may be a bad omen). Unky Al replied to my WGL post and suggested I take a look round here, and after a bit of thinking, consulting and seeing that others were looking in this direction, I thought I'd try my luck! I am still very new to clan gaming, so please be patient (and gentle) with me.
I don't play Cod or Battlefield at all because I'm particularly woeful at them. I do play FIFA because I suck slightly less at that than anything else. I'm happy to play in any position in a Be a Pro team, but do prefer to play at RM or CDM if possible. So if you hadn't guessed from the rest of this paragraph, I'd like to try out for the FIFA squad once CoG shuffles off this mortal coil. As hinted earlier in the post, I'm not the best, but I am disciplined defensively and will always give my all.
Away from gaming I work for Waitrose doing shifts all over the place and have a daughter at home, and a son on the way, so the times I'm online can vary quite massively, but if I know there's a match coming up I can usually shift things around. That's pretty much all there is to do with me, but I have noticed that others have stated their football alligences, so I may as well come out as a Norwich city fan now.

Re: Hello
Hi Tom, welcome to the site and thanks for signing up. A fair few of us around here are gaming parents as well so understand and know the pressures that brings
Don't worry about being new to clan gaming as we all had to start somewhere and in Unky Al's case, he hasnt developed much in 4 years so you will bypass him in no time! One thing we pride ourselves on is giving everyone a fair crack and getting them involved as much as possible so get stuck in and you will do just fine

Re: Hello
I will throw you over a FR request, dont worry mate about skill, if this clan was based on that I would of been shown the door a long time ago
Also I will give you some shit about being a Norwich fan now and get it over and done with only because Im a big Leicester fan and beating you was the highlight of the season

Re: Hello
Tom's very modest about his FIFA skills, always near the top of my 'most wanted' list when CoG are playing clubs matches! Nice to see you here too

Worst atmosphere all season, from a Norwich perspective, and I was right next to the away fans chanting "you've stolen our seats", just thinking to myself "but I'm in my season ticket seat "

Re: Hello
I've been saying since we were in league 1 that he'd end up at villa, so I'm mainly pleased to be proven right (just a year later than I thought), shame you wasted your time with houllier and Mcleish before you went for the right man really!

Re: Hello
A few of us on here are Villa fans and we all really liked the way Lambert had Norwich playing without fear and being willing to have a go at anyone. If he can do the same for us he could do really well.
First manager appointed at the Villa in a long time (possibly since Brian Little) that has unanimous fan support so he will have the fans right behind him!

Re: Hello
Villa = Birminghams second team
There was a big ooh arr over the tickets because we should of got 15% but only ended up with 10% due to fire and health and saftey restrictions

Re: Hello
That's the reason they gave, but it was partly cos they'd already sold them to season ticket holders. My seat goes right onto the mesh separating home and away support.

Re: Hello
If he gets the backing, lambert will be fantastic there, but don't be surprised to see him dash off if a better/bigger offer comes along. Did it to Wycombe and Colchester (who?) before us.
