So just swap the $ sign for a £ sign for UK launch then. I read somewhere that there is a rumor that M$ will sell the 'set-top' box for under £130 (a small profit) nd the 'hardcore' box for under £200 (a small loss). If that is true then I'll stay with M$. I'll see if I can find the report.

I'm shocked they have gone for the free online service again. I just hope it has improved from the PS3 online.

Found the article, was on 'T3' Original story: According to a leaked Microsoft document, the Xbox 720 will land some time in 2013, quashing rumours that the much-mooted device would land at the end of 2012.

The 2010-dated document, which refers to the console as the 'Xbox 720', also revealed that the software giant was planning on allocating it a price tag of about £190, which is surprisingly good value for what will be one of the most anticipated consoles of the year.

Although the report was confirmed as genuine by Microsoft, the software giant has repeatedly made reference to the console’s ’10 year lifecycle’, seemingly quelling reports of a pre-2015 arrival.

So it could be that the set top box will be that price, not the hardcore version? Guess we'll have to wait for E3 on June 11th to find out.

Back on topic,i'm not really a fan of the Playstation. Had the first one and me buv had the second but to be honest when we had mates round we had more fun on either the N64,GameCube or Dreamcast.

At end of the day it dont matter about the specs. For me its all about the Dev's making decent online games with little/no lag and bang on hit detection.

I'm liking the sound of the backwards compatibility and I'm really not surprised that PS+ will get a price increase.

Interesting, lets see what M$ bring to the table.
