it was ps3. you can see the "press x" commands in a couple places

or ps4

I reeckon itll come out on next gen too.. but they aint gonna say cos that will surely dent their current gen sales... so likely a PC/PS4/XBone release will be announced not long after release on this gen... maybe *just* before nov when next gen releases..

Looks awesome i cant wait.

Although a few things have pissed me off a bit...

Xbox1 release date November (Probably nearer the end as well)
Fifa release date September 27...
Gta release date September 17...

This leaves 2 months for people to wait if they want the next gen xbox and these two titles on the next gen.

But if bought on the ps3 you could still play them on the Ps4 when released as there is backwards compatibility...

Microsoft again shooting themselves in the foot?

In any case it is annoying as Gta is a HUGE game and 6 months a year down the line will you still be playing it? Online it will be awesome and by that time you will all most likley have the next gen so with no backwards compatibility at all what will you do?

Buy it now, or wait?

there is no backwards compatibility on ps4. theres streaming (hopefully) next year of some (not all) ps3 games. and you will have to pay for it (again if you bought on ps3). and there is no guarantee that the experience will be a good on (see Onlive reviews).

buy it at release. theres no question. they have said that there is no next gen version (though this could change, but it wont be soon). im not planning on getting rid of 360 after X1, and i know others have the same opinion. of course, there is also the (very very very) rumoured thing about plugging the 360 into the X1, which will make keeping it a slightly more appealing option

Definitely buy at release, and will be on 360. With the lack of backwards compatibility I intend to keep both 360 and PS3 next gen as I have far too many games to play through.
