Dead Nation Apocalypse Edition can be heavily influenced by Twitch viewers

As most now know Dead Nation is the free PS+ game for PS4 players in March, however most don't know that it will include an exciting feature, Interactive Broadcasts...

Interactive Broadcasts aren't new in fact they've been available since the launch if the PS4 but so far no game has made great use of the feature, Tomb Raider allowed viewers to revive Lara if she died, Dynasty Warriors 8 let viewers gift items to the player and the upcoming Yakuza Ishin will increase the speed of your health regen for every comment on your broadcast....

For Dead Nation developers Housemarque (the guys behind Resogun) it's a case of taking it up a notch, If you choose to play while broadcasting interactively then viewers will have a major impact on your game, their choices will range from giving you ammo to releasing larger hordes of zombies at you, they can even decide which path you take and how hard the game becomes.

I've always liked this idea and it's a shame Sony haven't put more effort into advertising it, I like the idea of buddying up with a friend for Co-Op and then allowing the viewers to decide our fate, it'll add an interesting twist and keep repeat games fresh....

That would be interesting - have a community challenge evening and let people decide on how hard to make life for the players
