Battlefield 4 rubber banding finally getting fixed this week
Hi everyone,
As you know, we’ve been looking into resolving the “rubber banding” that some players on certain platforms have experienced with Battlefield 4 after the recent release of Naval Strike. We’ve found that the root cause of the issue was a configuration of certain hardware types dedicated to 64-player matches.
We have invested in new hardware to resolve this issue and deployed new higher-performance servers this week. In preparation, we conducted a significant amount of testing before installing the new servers to ensure they would correct the issue. We are already seeing performance improvement with 64-player matches and expect this to continue.
While the process took longer than we would’ve liked, we wanted to be 100% sure it was done right and that the long-term solution was properly in place.
Our objective is to deliver the best player experience possible. We feel this solution helps us deliver that to you. Stay tuned to our official channels for more information.
Thanks,

Can't say i've had too much of this. Normally the first minute or two of my first game of the night is a bit laggy but then settles after that. I just put it down to joining a server for the first time.

I've been totally unable to play, it's always two steps forward then one back, vehicle turrets reset as soon as I turn them, grenades dont throw and changing equipment requires me to press the d-pad 5 or 6 times....

for me, this is largely irrelevant. bf4 has been such a hotch-potch mix of good and bad - generally the game-play is sound, but there is always something that just makes the whole thing a chore. i just haven't been able to get into it as a result. well, that and the fact that i just dont think its as good as 3.

I've not seen any issues at all really. although I have only just started playing it properly in the last week or two... (PS4 - fibre connection)
I guess first impressions stick!
Although my kill rate seems a bit good (for me) so it may be everyone else is banding!

XB1 version has its issues but rubberbanding was way down the list. Server connections were the biggest issue for me, I sat for 30, 40 minutes just to get into a single game this all came about the week after buying Premium . I was so pissed off with it I started to peruse a refund on Premium but even that was a headache, I just gave up on playing it in the end, it's a fantastic game but its server issues killed my interest. BF4 is better than 3 you just need to play it alot the UI isnt the most user friendly and Battlelog on a tablet, pc or phone certainly helps here.
