woah.
i opened that up in 1080p on youtube, full screen, and the bottom of the screen was obscured at the start of the video. as i couldnt see anything to tell me otherwise, i honestly looked at the left hand side and thought "awesome graphics". i thought the right was real world

Re: Project Cars.
Lets hope it drives as good as it looks. These guys produced SHIFT2 which looked amazing but it had a very weird physics model which appeared to be based around a mid car pivot.... also they released it and ran off or were disbanded.
It will be very interesting to see how successful this community driven funding/development/testing works out!

It does look very impressive but will gameplay actually play like this? This could just be CGI, impressive CGI granted but not gameplay, theres been so many trailers showing games off using CGI and then the game turns out a watered down affair.

I will in time but my Kwak is getting financial TLC at the mo and that is sapping any chance of me getting one at this point.
I have to say, if this is being developed by the guys behind Shift 2 then it tempers my enthusiasm quite a bit as I thought that was a horrible game. The driving model was not fun although the ability to move your head in cockpit view was a good touch.

I think it should/will look as pretty as it appears. theres been a bit of real gameplay footage around.
But I have reservations also - I didnt like the car handlingin Shi(f)t 2 either. Its funny how many car games claim to have *super* real handling - and yet they all seem to be somewhat different.
Forza is a fine example of this - Each one is meant to be super accurate physics and handling - and thye are all different also. I think I like FM4 best of all. I find 5 awful in this regard - feels like the cars have wire tyres or something. If thats how the F40s and stuff really drive im glad I wont ever own one !

This game will also be compatible with both Oculus and Morpheus for 'total racing feel'.
