Xbone £315 no kinect at CEX

As it says. If you want Kinect it will cost you an extra 20 quid,if you want to sell your Kinect they will give you a fiver.

I take it this pre-owned?

GAME are doing a pre-owned Xbox One for £299 instore with Kinnect. I saw a chap buy one when I was in there last week and it was in mint condition

The mad bit is they are selling the Kinect 2 sensor for only £20! I'm sure MS with try and sell them retail at £100.

yes. its all a little......odd really. especially given what they were selling both consoles for days after launch. they like to make a buck, so £20/£5 is just bizarre. more so when you see this

I agree although I wonder if the low trade in price/cash price is more an attempt to dissuade gamers from trading in their sensors en masse. £20 is still pretty cheap to pick one up for though, if your sensor was to fail then at least it wouldnt cost much (at this point in time) to replace it.

It will be interesting to see if CEX's prices are adjusted much when the solus Kinect sensor goes on sale

They have to sell the sensor cheaply because so many people have unwanted ones. If they decided the market rate for a used kinect was £60 then everyone with a kinect would stick it on ebay for £50. The price should be around £20 but I am a bit surprised that they didn't try to milk it a bit initially then drop the prices after a while.

I think its more about shifting the 2nd hand XB1 stock they have, as its clear the online price of a new XB1 is going to be nearer £330 fairly soon, so they will have to go sub £300 on their stock.

But clearly the Kinect is worth £50 of anyone's money (I'm tempted to buy a shed load and sell them on ebay over the next year). I guess someone has priced this on a spreadsheet basis without understanding the value of anything!
