Fallout 4 Official Trailer

Excited?

Just a bit!! I'm hoping it comes out this year. If I remember correctly Vegas was released in November

They tend to release games around that time of year - I think Fallout 3 and Skyrim were launched in October. Fingers crossed its out this year but if it means as few bugs as possible I can wait

Surely it wouldnt be fallout without a number of bugs

I thought they looked ok - at least theres some colour now. Course I am a big FO fan. I would buy 3 and play again if they released it on piss4

The trailer got me going tbh but then I rate FO3 and NV as 2 of my favourite games on 360, bugs and all.

I am buzzing about this but part of me is hesitant to get it on day 1 due to the track record of these games launching with problems. I think its acceptable some will be present in games of this kind of size but there have been some pretty awful

I would like to get this on PC if I had the choice but to be honest my current PC has about had it so will probably get it on the PS4

?? I thought your PC was fairly new?

Thin its just over 2 years old but been having loads of problems with it at the moment with the blue screen freeze and bugs taking over search engines etc. Its not helped by letting my son play minecraft with his mates on it and down loading tekkit and other programmes which I have not monitored. The whole PC just seems to run very slow.
If I had my rime again it would have Steam on it and nothing else, not even the internet

Reinstall windoze - I gave up trying to track stuff like that down ages ago. You can have it reinstalled in < 1hr. Usually fixes most stuff.

^ ^ this. All your games saves should have synced with Steam so should be recoverable so copy off any docs/pics that you need and wipe it clean. It will be quicker than trying to clean it up and it should run much quicker again.

If your son is going to be using it, consider setting up a login on the machine with limited rights - that way, he shouldnt be able to install anything that could be harmful to it.

The games that are not synced with steam cloud I believe live in the my docs folder - can always back that up. (Think windows easy transfer will sort that all out for you)

Can you also back up local data on Steam as well? Right click on the game in your library and I think the option is in there

I think that to backup the actual game rather than the save data. Save redownloading. But as long as you dont format the HDD you wont need to do that.

This, combined with Halo 5 will probably result in me buying an X1 this year.

I'd also like to remind everyone that when the new consoles were released I immediately pointed out that both sides had missed a fairly obvious gap in the market by failing to design their own Suf-esque controllers aimed at the competitive market. Announcing that coupled with dedicated servers would have instantly guaranteed that the competitive scene sticks with MS.

Is it confirmed that the Mods are an Xbox One exclusive? It would be nice to see this on the PS4 as well.

Reading this link it says "This is a huge win for the Xbox One" so reading that its XB1 only.

It is coming to PS4 as well - confirmed this morning but it will be available on XB1 first for a period of time

Just been reading a report on the PS4. The guy behind it has said he'd like the mods to go multiplatform so nothing concrete yet. PC mods arent coming until 2016 so console going to be some time after that, plenty of time for PS4 inclusion.

On a side note the consoles are hardly finding the latest games easy to run, where are they going to find these additional resources to run mods when games are stretching the consoles without extras going on in the background.

Fallout E3 vids made me do sex wee. Prob end up getting it for the pc unless I've made any decisions on next gen by the time it comes out.
