(IMPORTANT) Please avoid all Microsoft run websites at this time!!

As mentioned here Xbox Live is currently experiencing problems this has now spread to all M$ run websites and now many antiviruses are reporting M$'s sites as infected with a Trojan virus.

At this time you should avoid all use of Hotmail, MSN, Xbox.com and Bing. Microsoft have gone quiet after a small panic on Twitter.



IT IS HIGHLY LIKLEY THAT M$ ARE UNDER A HIGH SCALE DOS ATTACK

UPDATE Part III

At this time Xbox support has elevated the status of the Xbox Live connection issues.

Bing and the Microsoft Billing website have not been affected...

It seems Xbox Live has mostly resumed normal service although there is still an alert on the service status page.

M$ support still refuse to comment on the virus issue though so please continue to avoid said sites.

Everything seems to have resumed normal service except the license transfer tool, this should not be used...

You should update your virus database and run a full scan mate.....

Ok mate, I left my laptop running a scan while I get little un ready for bed. I think it may be all clear though
