Did anyone get chance to play this last night? As I was downloading it I found a less than favourable review, which can be found here

Didnt get any multiplay time in (which seems to be this reviews biggest problem) but did start the single player campaign. It is buggy and even in single play the frame rate has slowed when the screen is getting busy. No dialog only text. But I had to keep reminding myslef that it is a £7 arcade game and not a £30 retail game. I was quite happy by the time id finished and will be going back to continue it. The only real thing that got on my nerves a little was the fact that if you get wasted during a quest you have to go back and start the whole quest again. Even if you regularly save mid quest......dont seem to make a differance. Jury is still out on this one.

Frame rate issues on a DL game sounds poor tbh - surely, this would have shown up in testing as its not like the PC world where very rarely are 2 machines the same.....

I would guess the MP problems can be patched but it seems a little disappointing, and again its seem like a game that has been rushed out to deadline broken rather than being finished properly - this in my opinion is the real negative to Live as it gives devs too much slack.

The review suggests that it may have been rushed to release.

We are seeing this more and more now, not just Arcade releases but full games, that are being released with far too many bugs. Its almost worth avoiding games new games until patches have been sorted.

Have any of you RPG buff taken any notice of Dark Souls? It's the spiritual sequel to Demon Souls on the PS3 which is now widely regarded as one of the best this generation.

It's for the hardcore though as this is one though ass game to beat

Does look impressive, but the amount of games out at the moment, or due to come out, games like this might be a bargain basement buy methinks

Got it, and played it the other night. It's not too bad for an arcade game, will be up for some co-op action though

Looks pretty interesting. Not my kind of game but if there is a demo for this I will def give it a go and will get it if I enjoy it. $ player co-ops are always worth considering.
