LA Noire optimised for HDD install....requires 20GB!! + Review roundup...

When it comes to a multiplatform game where the PS3 is the lead platform, the counterpart is always the inferior version. With L.A. Noire coming out on the Xbox 360, expect some graphical glitches and hiccups but it can lessen via the data installation.

For those who are looking for a smooth experience on the Xbox 360 version of L.A. Noire, installing the game’s data is the way to go. Installing all three discs will take up to 20GB of space as each of the discs are at 6.6GB. Following the successful data installation, players can notice that the game loads faster, lessen the in-game graphics pop-up and the screen tearing.


Still getting it, reviews on so far have been pretty incredible with the game already one of the top ranking games on Metacritic holding an average of 92 based on 24 reviews...

L.A. Noire is a bold release, because it defies the expectations not just for the type of game Rockstar usually releases, but also for the type of game that receives this degree of care and proficiency in its execution. The world already has enough open-world action games, but a game which marries that open world to such a methodical style of gameplay, with a budget this big, is a rare thing indeed.

Figured it would make sense to install - any idea if this eradicates the need to disc swap?

I don't know mate but it's unlikely....

wouldnt be too bad if you can install a disk at a time play that disc then move onto the next but if you need to swap back and forth guess its gonna mean a full hdd owning install. looks like an awesome and will be getting eventually
