Battlefield 3, Finally some 360 footage!

Over on the Eurogamer main page there are links to 2 leaked videos of Battlefield 3 on the Xbox 360. One looks to be from a multiplayer game on the paris map and the other is from a single player level showing the Jet Fighters in action!

I had a look and there are some 360 specific vids but they have been taken from a dev test kit and are only 240p vids so don't show how good/bad the game is going to look although they do look like a lot of fun.

Can you paste a link in Matt and I will see if I can embed it?

hmmm while I agree the jet play looks insane I did notice a few things missing,

Your clearly being flown by the AI in that vid it looks like your just in control of the weapons which tbh is not necessarily a bad thing.

Go back and watch the original PC gameplay trailer and you'll notice that the characters seem to have weight behind their movements even the player controlled character has these yet those physics seem to be absent in the 360 version instead movements are far more CoD-like, perhaps a different physics engine. Oddly PS3 footage seems to share the PC physics......

While the environments look incredible it seems that character models have taken a graphical hit looking alot less detailed than the PC and even PS3 version.

tbh these are all minor issues as the gameplay seems to be stacking up incredibly well, my only gripe will be if the 360 version is inferior to the PS3 will I really want to stump up the same RRP for it?

I dunno mate, its a toughy, On one hand the PS3 version may be technically superior but on the other hand the 360's MP will be better........

True, but then most of us on here will be on the 360 version

360 version for me, and if my iMac can handle it may get the pc version as well
