Amazon annouces Kindle Fire tablet

Amazon have announced their entry in the tablet market with a new 7" tablet called the Kindle Fire with a dual core processor running a modified version of Google's Android OS @ a very pleasing $199 price tag. Look out iPad you have serious competition now.
Launches Nov 15 (unsure is this is US only or worldwide date)

As well as their tablet they also announced new kindle models in time for the xmas market.

Kindle touch 3g $149

The kindle touch models have a simple touchscreen

Love my kindle. I wonder what the uk prices will be? im guessing more than the current kindle. be good if they offer trade ins

Will defininitly get either the tablet or the new kindle - providing of course apple don't launch a barrage of law suits like they did with Samsung

Patent wars have begun, expect both sides to start rolling out their clones to do battle, then some dar mysterious figure from behind the scenes will step forward to take control of everything E V E R Y T H I N G

I heard about this on the radio this morning and thought it sounded interesting. I will do some digging but even if I dont get one then the standard Kindle at anywhere near those $ prices above would still make a good buy.
