If Halo Anniversary's campaign feels a little too familiar for comfort, you may want to consider tackling 343's Combat Evolved reboot with one of those crazy Skull modifiers enabled.

We scribbled down the full list during a Halo Anniversary hands-on last week - watch out for the preview later this week. How many do you think you can handle at once? Enjoy these new campaign screenshots too.

Malfunction
Like your remodelled shield display? Try to avoid getting shot then. This Skull knocks out random elements of the HUD every time you respawn.

Eyepatch
Auto-aim's for new school wimps. This Skull disables it. Have some of that, Magnum specialists.

Pinata
Don't get too close to the Covenant with this Skull enabled - they'll drop grenades when killed.

Grunt Birthday Party
An old favourite. Invisible children cheer and throw handfuls of confetti for every Grunt you pop.

Fog
Prefer your heavily-armed alien menace heard but not seen? This Skull disables the motion tracker.

Famine
The Covenant and UNSC are hard up in Anniversary. This Skull halves the amount of ammo you'll find in each gun the AI drops.

Boom
Those grenades need a bit more oomph. This Skull doubles the explosion radius. Save 'em for the Library.

Bandanna
The more the merrier. This Skull gives you infinite ammo. Don't let go of that rocket launcher.

Black Eye
Big shout-out to Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine's health system! This Skull recharges your shields when you melee enemies.

Recession
Make those bullets count. Every shot your fire sops up twice the ammo.

Foreign
Get used to those conservatively decorated human weapons. This Skull makes it impossible to pick up Covenant firearms.

Mythic
Thoroughly desensitised to pain? This Skull's for you. It gives all Sentinels shields and all Covenant double health.

Iron
Now you're cooking with charcoal. Death with this Skull enabled sends you right back to the start of the level. Death during a co-op game resets you both to the last checkpoint. Ouch.
