Grand Theft Auto 5!
Rockstar has officially announced Grand Theft Auto 5 via a teaser image posted on Rockstar.com.
The image merely teases the game's logo and lists a date for the game's first trailer - 2nd November.
No release date or platforms are mentioned.
The V in the logo is stylised to look like a bank note. What could that mean?
Previous rumours pegged the game as being set in Hollywood, with a report claiming a 2012 release date was "very likely".
Leaked information from a purported casting call earlier this year suggested the game had already been in development for some time.
From Eurogamer. Awesome!!!
Matt

I hope this is a vast improvment tbh, I enjoyed 4 and marvel at it's technical genius but I can't deny that the SP was such a struggle to play through at times.
The MP is always fun though

Re: Grand Theft Auto 5!
A struggle in what way? hard going or the fact that it gets a bit "samey" at times. I should have a go at finishing 4 tbh
I think some friday night speedo action is needed in the not too distant future!!

Re: Grand Theft Auto 5!
Grand Theft Auto 5 takes place in a version of Los Angeles, according to a Kotaku report.
Citing "a source familiar with the game", it claims the franchise will return to California for the first time since GTA: San Andreas back in 2004.
Its moles also claim that the game will feature more than one playable character.
We'll know more when Rockstar unveils the game's debut trailer on 2nd November.
A bit more info from EG...
and Stevo, I agree we need to get the speedos out for another evening

Re: Grand Theft Auto 5!
GTA4 is one of the best games of the current Gen but I am with Tom that the SP became a bit of a grind even for me and towards the end, I just wanted it done and out of the way rather than feeling compelled by its narrative to finish it.
The MP though is one of my all time faves, has given me countless hours of fun online and was my passport to the world of Xbox Live as it was my first MP game for the 360
I hope this not only heads back towards the vibe and look of San Andreas (still at a push my fave game of all time) but also that it goes back to the humour and fun of the PS2 generation games.
