Skyrim - 360 texture issues

I happened to mention to Ninja earlier, giving my first impressions of the game that I wasnt taken by the hit and miss graphics and textures (game is quality though), and this article explains why

So in a nutshell, dont install to your hard drive until Bethesda put a fix out.

I daresay that is something they will be able to patch fairly easily and hopefully quickly

Thats a huge difference between the 2 - once they patch the game to optimise for 360 installs, I wonder if the gap will be as big....

tbh I'm playing it fine on my xbox and haven't noticed anything untoward. Game looks good, and i don't really good up close scrutinising textures. Theres far too much to be doing in this game anyway.


On a side note, does anyone know of a replica xbox joypad that works with the ps3, i really hate the dual shock pads

I didnt get it for the PS3, more out of how the 2 consoles compared with Oblivion. By all accounts the 360 version was much more superior with more DLC.

Interesting, the texture issue aside (they tested without the game installed) they say the 360 is much the better version.

There is also a bug on the PS3 with regards to the size of the save file.You might want to watch out for it Andy.
