GT5 getting even more DLC including a sophisticated car setup circuit

Sony has revealed two new DLC packs for Gran Turismo 5. Rolling in January 18, the packs will offer six new vehicles and a fresh new test course, and release alongside Polyphony Digital's 2.03 update.

Car Pack 3 will run for $6.99 and include the Aston Martin V12 Vantage '10, Lamborghini Aventador, Mini Countryman S '11, Jaguar XJR-9 LM Race Care '88, Nissan Leaf G 2011, and Volkswagon 1200 '66. The second DLC, Speed Test Pack, will sell for $5.99 and feature the Special Stage Route X Oval test course and measurement menu options, giving players a feature-rich environment in which to test their new and existing rides.

Both packs will launch with the Updated 2.03, which will reportedly bring a few performance tweaks, colors, wallpapers, and other unconfirmed improvements.

A Gran Turismo 5 XL Edition, announced last week, is also slated for arrival on January 17. It will sport the previously released Racing Car Pack, Car Pack 2, Course Pack, Racing Gear Pack, and Paint Pack DLC; as well all the improvements included in the Spec 2.0 update
