The Darkness II Demo confirmed!

A post on the official Darkness 2 website has confirmed a playable demo for the Digital Extremes shooter will be released next week.

That's if you're an Xbox Live Gold subscriber, anyway. The rest of you have to wait an additional week.

Xbox Live Gold members can get their hands on the demo next Tuesday, January 17. The demo will then become available a week later on the 24th on the US PS Store, Steam and for Xbox Live Silver members.

European and Asian PSN users will have to wait an extra day on top of that, getting the demo on the 25th. There's no mention at all of Aussie gamers. Sorry guys.

The full version of The Darkness 2 will release on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 on February 10.

Definitely giving this a go although unfortunately, picking up this game will have to wait till a price drop.

Loved the first one

Mentioned to Tom the other night, that I haven't played the first one yet.

Its worth giving a look at but it takes a bit of getting used to - gameplay isnt that great tbh but the story, characters and atmosphere more than make up for it. It has one genuinely brilliant achievement that I really enjoyed getting.....
