The previously rumoured Battlefield 3 - Premium service will launch next Monday alongside the game's new DLC pack Close Quarters, the European PS Blog has accidently revealed.

Sony listed the products in this week's PS Store update before later pulling all mention of them, but not before sites like Joystiq picked up on the details.

Battlefield Premium will cost £39.99/EUR49.99/AU$79.99, while the Close Quarters DLC will set you back £11.99/EUR14.99/AU$23.95.

According to previous leaks, Battlefield Premium will offer access to all Battlefield 3 DLC expansions - including a fifth, as-yet-unannounced one called Aftermath - and a range of other downloadable goodies.

Too pricey EA, too pricey Evil or Very Mad

The price of this is quite staggering. The concept of the CQ DLC just doesnt appeal to me and if you already have B2K then you are paying a higher rate for each pack.

I will assess the individual DLC's on their merits and may pick one or 2 of them up but I see this killing BF3 for a lot of people tbh

It is a lot but I get the impression this update is a bit like the vietnam one for BFBC2....
Almost a new game.

The visuals of close quarters looks brilliant but I don't think it will be my sort of game play... bit too COD!

LOL where are my pills....
