Herro :)

Hello FWG! I recently put up a F/A thread on the WGL forums which Ninja replied to. I'm with CoG currently but we're disbanding after this weekend and NastyNeil give you guys the thumbs up.

So, I'm Marcus (GT: CoG TechNizzle) 24 from Oxfordshire. The only MP games I really play atm is BF3 and GoW3 so will be hoping to join those squads if possible I do have MW3 but I never play it as, tbh, I dont really like it that much lol.
My main interests are playing guitar (poorly), football (QPR!), Graphic and web design and of course Xbox.

I've heard you guys are a really nice bunch and, from what I can remember of playing against some of you, pretty decent gamers.
I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you and cant wait to get some games in

Yeah number at CoG have started dwindling recently,even with a recruitment drive I tried doing. Plus Neil wanted some time away from gaming to concentrate on real life.
Anyways, I'm happy to be here, any clan whose first reply has the words 'bum fun' in it are ok in my book (not coz I like bum fun...just wanna make that clear). Lol.

Welcome to the site Tech, sorry to hear about the demise of COG. The few times the 2 sides have met have always been fine encounters played in excellent spirit so the loss of COG is a blow to the WGL community as a whole. Thanks for signing up to the site and for considering us. The boards are already open for you to have a look around. Feel free to spam away and jump in with us for some games

I will drop you a FR shortly and will most likely be playing BF3 tonight if you are around

We are also going to be hitting Gears 3 tomorrow night so it would be great to have you on with us.

Thanks Ninja, and thanks for the warm welcome. I should be on tonight for some BF3 and tomorrow for Gears. I cant wait to get some games in, although I'll probably only be useful as canon fodder lol.

Also if anyone needs graphics being done, like sigs for instance I'd be more than happy to help out.

thats quite unbeleivable (not suggesting you are lying lol), i was with cog many years back and at the time we had 215 members, most of which were active members. i guess it shows how a smaller place like this where members are much tighter knit is often the way that works, plus plenty of bum fun of course

I think numbers had been going down for a while then. I joined CoG in about January/Febuary and there was nowhere near that many active members It was closer to about 15 or so. We managed to get a few new recruits here and there and it was still fun. But nothing like the 215 mark.

My job was to heal Pais and spot, it's not my faulty Pais died before he got my healing and it's not my fault I was spotting them after i died lol

I think you may be referring to the other COG Andy, there was 2 - a .co.uk and a .com. The .co.uk guys have been going for quite a while (we knew of them back at C4G) and was run by the likes of Nemster and Bodster. I am not sure if they are still going either
