New Screens of Project CARS are nothing short of amazing

Slightly Mad Studios has released a new set of screenshots and I’m currently drooling all over my monitor. It’s really hard to believe that Project CARS is still in alpha phase and looks this good. As always, all shots show purely in-game footage that has not been made in any special photo mode with no post-processing or filters that aren’t available during the actual gameplay. And as the company states, creative users can make usage of various tools, including a free roam camera and a depth of field editor, making Project CARS the perfect choice to create stunning videos or screenshots like the ones below. For those not in the know, Project CARS has been in development for a little over two years at Slightly Mad Studios. Unlike other games though this has been developed with FULL player control, Slightly Mad have made each version of the game publicly available on PC from the beginning of development and continues to do so. Each time a version is released Slightly Mad ask the players what needs removing, adding, developing, tweaking etc etc. The aim is to create THE perfect and most complete racer for every player and so far it's coming along exceptionally well.

Once PC development is complete Slightly Mad will port the game over to PS3, 360 and Wii U and have stated that the current engine running on consoles is almost exactly the same as the PC version.

Looks promising, have they given any timescales for console or do you think they will wait for next gen?
