As you may or may not have seen, the WGL Wiki has undergone a bit of a make-over. In the past, it was full of half complete articles about guns in MW3, for example. This was pointless. There are enough places around the internet that detail any game you care to think of in far more depth than we ever can, so why should we attempt to do the same?

The wiki needed to be something different. All the dead-wood has been stripped away and now the wiki is a respository for our history. All leagues and competitions, as much as possible, now have their full history; the WGL site is restricted as to what it can show regarding old leagues. We are not. We have sourced as many of the old leagues as we can, but unfortunatly many are still as they are on WGL. However, from here on in, every league, once completed, will be screen grabbed and posted for all to see, any time.

But it doesn't stop there.

The WGL wiki also provides your clan the ability to record your own history within the WGL. For example:

This page has been done with the new template, and we ask that you, and all clans, use it to create (or recreate) your own page. I know it involves a bit of time and effort, but please give it a go. Once done, it will enable you to have your own clans person history. This can then be used in free agent threads. Someone looking for a clan? Send a link to your wiki profile and let them see just what you are involved in and how you have done over the year. The WGL Powers That Be dont like everyone spamming the F?A threads. This gives you the chance to provide a lot more information to them than the forum does, so the onus is on you to make it appealing.


There is also the option to do your own personal history as an individual player, with your own personal profile. For example:

This one only covers singles competitions I have been involved in, but there is no reason you cannot edit it to include your achievements within team you play in too. Again, it is up to you to do with as you wish, but bear in mind, if for whatever reason you become a free agent, this can again be used for your own F/A thread.

So feel free to pop over and have a nosey round. And please do take the time to complete your own profiles, clan or personal. We do request though that you try and keep to the templates as much as possible. We are trying to get a uniform look for all these pages.
