Grid 2 gets £125,000 special edition

GRID 2 developer Codemasters has unveiled a one-off ‘Mono Edition’ for its incoming racer. It costs £125,000, includes a copy of the game and, well, an actual honest-to-god car.

The car, a road-worthy BAC-Mono can hit 170MPH, and it comes with full race gear. A press release from Codemasters tells us that the car was created from, “high-strength carbon fibre,” and that the, “BAC Mono is an unrivalled example of light-weight performance engineering and its 2.3 litre, 280 bhp four cylinder power plant will propel its driver from 0-60 m.p.h. in just 2.8 seconds”.

It also comes with a copy of GRID 2 on PS3 with unique one-of-a-kind pack art, a BAC Mono livery for the game, a day trip to the BAC factory, a GRID 2: Mono Edition race helmet, a full race suit and a PS3 console.

Is it £150k? I thought EG reported it at £125k - not that is matters much, its still a pretty insane edition.

At least going for this version, you will at least have 1 car worth driving......

No your right mate, early reports stated 150k but it's been refined to 125k now
