Flatout 3: Chaos and Destruction announced.....don't get too excited though.....
Strategy First today announced that FlatOut 3: Chaos & Destruction, a destructive and high-octane game developed for PC, can now be pre-ordered via Steam with a 10% incentive - the game will be fully integrated with Steam Works, and the Razer Hydra Controller powered by the Sixense Motion tracking technology. In the tradition of the FallOut franchise, FlatOut 3: Chaos & Destruction will include the ever-popular Rag doll party games while at the same time introducing new game modes.
The game releases on the 16th Dec for Steam only (Sorry Marky). A real shame that this has been passed to a shoddy dev in my opinion as the last game was really really good. This doesn't look like a huge step forward but it is running on the same engine and it seems to have some interesting new ragdoll modes, Might be worth a go on Steam....who knows...

Well, the initial sceptisism on this is completely warranted by the look of it - EG just gave it a 1 out of 10 and it sounds like a complete mess of a game.
What a shame that the Flatout name is going to get dragged though the dirt for being attached to this apparent abortion of a game.
I feel for anyone suckered in by the Flatout name enough to buy this
