Zombies attack again.....this time it's Dirt 3.....(not quite the norm though)
Codemasters without a doubt is taking the Colin McRae franchise to the next level with all the gossips they have already made for DiRT 3.
DiRT3 will include Gymkhana, the-wild-stunt-driving-course inspired by driver Ken Block. The off-road racer will have a more realistic approach than its predecessors featuring a unique tire modeling with the improved friction and pressure system which ensure cars handle differently as the tires bump onto diverse ground surfaces. Nevertheless, yet, the strangest feature apparently DiRT3 or probably any racing game will embrace is, “Zombie mode”.
The publisher revealed that DiRT 3 will feature a zombie mode where players must avoid their opponents, or else they might get caught by an infected driver.
In the multiplayer zombie mode, a player will be the infected driver. He has to race his way bumping onto other drivers in an attempt to infect them on the track (sounds…fun?). The virus would be embodied by a green-color-alteration of the windshield.

is it just me or does having a zombie mode on a game that based around a dead dude seem a bit insensitive

Seriously, a tag mode is fine but does it need to involve zombies? It really feels like Devs looking for a quick fix hit the zombie button and wait for the gaming equivalent of zombies to open their wallets

i have had enough of zombies. my worst nightmare is when Gears 3 is released it will have 'the most zombies on screen ever' written on the front.
