Whats happening with deus ex?

Just wondering if anyone has noticed whats happening with deus ex, I thought this would be a much bigger game release considering it's pedigree and awesome cinematic trailer.

This was a must buy for me I love the setting and different ways of completing the mission but when i went onto amazon looking for the pre-order date thinking it would be Begining of May i was shocked to learn that it is out next week (8th of March).

Normally this sort 'quiet' release (certainly compared to bulletstorm) has me a bit nervous about the state of the game and its actual quality,

Has anyone (i.e. Tom) got any news about it, been following RPS articles on it but they seem more focused on the PC version

Yes mate it's been pushed back to September I believe, And don't worry this will be a big release

Looks like the press have been getting hands on time this month and mostly it's all good praise especially towards the open world and open nature of the game, Bodes well...thats exactly how Deus Ex should be!

this should defo see some sex-wee coming out

The original was one of the first PC games I ever bought and it was fantastic so I really hope that they get this right. If they do then its a must play

Just seen an article on EG regarding this one. They claim that EB in Australia have the game slated for release on 25th August so expect it to be out a day or so either side of that in the UK

I am seriously tempted but will see what pre order specials are

normal pre order is a grenade launcher, extra mission and an auto unlock device, the £12 extra version is as above but with a double shotty, silenced sniper and 10000 credits to spend on upgrades (may only be enough for a mars bar as far as we know).

Another cool video, traded a lot of my old games into amazon and it came to just about the same amount as the collectors edition costs.......
........may 'just' get the augmented edition and save some cash for another day
