SONY announces price drop for PS3

Sony have announced a price drop for their PS3 console at Gamescom.

The new price will be $249, 249 euros. Will have to wait to see what that becomes for the UK

I bet it will be £249

I also saw a report that a there is a revised PSP due soon that will be retailing for 99 euro's and a 24" Sony 3D TV specifically designed for PS3 due to go on sale for 499 euro's - again, UK prices havent been confirmed but expect the euro sign to be replaced with a £
