MW3 multipayer trailer
For those of you who couldn't get enough of the rampant nube-tubing in mw2 there looks to be some sort of semi automatic grenade launcher available

Re: MW3 multipayer trailer
FFS why cant they listern when people say they hate the noob-tube?
When R6:Vegas came out and had the 'noob-canon' (shotgun with slugs instead of shot) people complained and Ubisoft removed it from Vegas 2. That made for a better game and the only reason it didnt get played much was because CoD4 came out soon after.
Why cant the host set their own rules for public as they do in private? At least you could find a decent game if 'tubes were banned (and killstreaks for that matter).
Was still deciding wether to get this or BF3 as i've not really got into BC2,but the more i see of MW3 the more i want BF3.

Beat me to it, really not impressed. Gameplay certainly looks like the 'if its not broke, dont fix it' variety but much like every game since COD4, this is going to be little more than a mild update to the previous game rather than a complete overhaul.
Not a bad thing in itself as COD's gameplay is tight but sooner or later that formula is going to start wearing thin and the cash cow is gonna run out of milk

It's already run out for me, bunch of noob tubing wankers!!
Suffice to say, won't be buying this one, may stick it on my rental list for single player and that's about it

Re: MW3 multipayer trailer
COD Elite price has been released. $49.99 for a years membership. This gives you access to all the DLC released for the year (though they actually said 9 months). Plus all the other features.
They did say that the DLC isn't just maps, but new game types etc.
Also DLC will be released on a monthly basis, though it wasn't clear if they meant this was for Elite members only or for everyone.

One of the more interesting aspects of this game is its killstreaks. They have overhauled how they are done.
There are now 3 classes, and the one that interests me in particular os the support class. Using this class, killstreak count does not reset upon your death.

Re: MW3 multipayer trailer
Is that going to translate at the usual £ to $ rate and go for £49.99 here? As someone who hasnt bought map packs for any COD - I only got the COD4 ones as I bought the GOTY ed. I am not about to start now by shelling out that much on top of the cost of the game.
I am sure to some gamers it will represent a good investment and well worth their time but it won't be for me.
Expect most people to spam the support class - I know I would....

Nope.
Will grab it down the line for the campaign and the admittedly awesome looking Spec Ops but my MP attention is squared purely at GoW 3 and BF3

new game modes - wtf
again, another example of keeping stuff out of a full priced game so they can screw you over every month after release!

Re: MW3 multipayer trailer
You can custom build your own game mode in this one, so might refer to that. Similar to Halo, you can customise private match settings and upload your settings for others to use.

This is most worrying aspect and would need more information. I cant see them shipping without the existing modes already included and i cant think of any other modes missing which would add something to the game.
