Microsoft Game Studios will use Smartglass in all future titles....
Microsoft Game Studios will support the newly-announced SmartGlass service with all of its future titles.
Corporate VP of Microsoft Studios Phil Spencer, told Joystiq that the firm will include enhancements for the secondary screen in all of its games released this autumn and beyond - when the service is expected to launch.
Microsoft announced SmartGlass at E3 last week - an application that lets gamers interface with Xbox 360 games and entertainment using compatible touch screen devices such as Apple or Android smartphones and tablets. Halo 4 is expected to be among the first supported titles, having appeared in the firm's first demonstrations of the new feature at its press conference. Spencer also told the site that SmartGlass will incorporate features for all compatible software into one package. "You don't have to log in and out of each app - you know, 'I'm gonna start the Mass Effect app, and now I'm gonna start the Game of Thrones app.' So you have this surface, this smart surface, that sits on any device that you already own that's always in sync with what's happening on the television, and it knows where to go and grab the right content to display at the right time, to make sure that if you're playing Halo, then the Halo surface is available on SmartGlass," he confirmed.
What's wrong with just making good games M$ We don't need all this "bells and whistles" crap!

just saw a bit on microsofts upcoming tablet called the surface. comes in 2 versions running win8 rt (mobile version) and win8 pro. has a variety of memory and works with a floppy magnetic keyboard. ms seemed to miss out any of the specs or even the price point. good luck getting in too late in the game i say, they obviously didnt learn anything from bringing out the zune hd too late.

MS don't need to release specs or prices, twats (fan boys) will buy it. How long before Apple decide to enter the 'home entertainment' market and release a console that does everything?
