Have M$ pulled a CoD shaped fast one on Sony?
This week has seen the announcement of IW's next entry into the Call of Duty series, Ghosts seems to be a freshish take on a tired formula and will be the first Cod title on next gen consoles.
But what of Activision's partnership with Microsoft We all know that Activision have favoured the 360 since CoD 4 even releasing DLC as a timed exclusive for Microsofts flagship. Well so far it seems that with a clever amount of marketing (one thing Microsoft are good at) Microsoft may be pulling the wool over CoD players eyes....
CoD is a huge franchise, we complain about it as gamers every year yet it continues to break records with each new release and this is down to the fact that CoD is played by EVERYONE, not just gamers but casuals as well. Now with Microsoft announcing that Ghosts will officially be unveiled at it's next gen event on May 21st it's safe to say Microsoft are happily tucked up with Activision still but with their clever marketing Microsoft are going to be lauding to all the casuals that Ghosts will be a launch title for the next Xbox therefore securing a huge fan base in one fell swoop....
Come May 21st I would put money on the next Xbox releasing Nov 5th, the same day as Ghosts.... If that is the case then Sony could have a fight on their hands again...

Typical MS move, they have had a definite advantage with this franchise on 360 and fair play to them for doing so. It still won't convince me to get a nextbox on launch until I know exactly what the console is about

Not interested in COD, and about 5% interest in M$'s next console. What a great combination
