Dragon Age III Inquisition
BioWare's creative director on Dragon Age Mike Laidlaw confirms that Dragon Age 3 will be at E3 this year.
Published on May 8, 2013
E3 2013 is going to be a big one: with Sony's PS4 and Microsoft's Xbox 720 going head-to-head, not to mention the hundreds of game announcements ready for the next-generation of consoles.
Add Dragon Age 3 into the already growing pile then.
BioWare's creative director on Dragon Age recently tweeted "Oh good. We've confirmed that we'll be at E3 to show stuff. That's great!"
Expect to see Laidlaw at EA's E3 2013 conference, then.
Laidlaw is specifically the creative director on Dragon Age only, but if that wasn't confirmation enough, he later clarified: "I was unclear! Yes, there will be some DAIII at E3. Not just "stuff." DAIII stuff."
I'm looking forward to this
So there you have it, Dragon Age 3 is at E3 this year. Little is known about Dragon Age 3 since its announcement, but it is known that it is being developed on DICE's Battlefield 4 engine Frostbite.
It's also expected to release at the end of 2013 - at the same time as the next-gen consoles.
Considering the lack of info, the expected outpouring of next-gen info at E3 and the presumed release date, it wouldn't be a stretch to consider Dragon Age 3 could be revealed as a next-gen launch game.
It has been in development for a while, after all, and EA has cetainly had its eye on next-gen for years now. Exciting.

I'm going to be very cautious over this one, I loved DA:O but I found DA2 to be very disappointing. It just wasn't a fun title to play.

I liked them both but did prefer DA:O overall.
There was plenty of good stuff in DA2 though with the voice acting and the way they handled story. Not the actual content of the story though - that was gash. I want a return to DA:O style party management and combat though.

Origins was excellent, and still go back and play it from time to time. 2 was ok, a let down compared to Origins.
Looking forward to 3 though. I have read some of the books which are pretty good as well.
