A mention must also go out to the numerous co-op nights spent with various people (mostly Chris lol) they range from double ko's on Halo reach, raging at that stupid level on Gears 2, the hilarity of Shank and Portal 2, the pure panic of L4D and of course I can't forget the night where we tried to co-op Ghost Recon Future Soldier after Chris had consumed copious amounts if wine.....

Favorite game moment was discovering Hardcore search and destroy - never played another game mode that can be as tense and thrilling as that - loved my first ever match on MW2 where I thought it was just like a normal death match and ran round with a shot gun going 12-1

As for clan memory - think it must be the run of competition winning where I picked up vouchers and games non-stop, I still have an unopened limited edition Bioshock 2 box somewhere around here. Hopefully this will stand me in good stead for this one

Always loved the look of the Bioshock 2 limited edition, seemed far better value for mone than most LE's

so many memories but one recent one i will always remember is when me and chris beat sean and jamie even though it was chris first ever game on fifa and backheeling the ball into his own net. but we came back to beat them. just wish i could of seen their faces because they didnt sound too happy

ive had loads of great game nights on xbox mostly played through the haze of far to much stella and fag smoke.the 1v1 on gears 3 against jamie where he fogot about the 10 second bleedout whilst he was raping me i got up and shotgunned him in the face.whilst the rest of you guys were laughing your tits off .it didnt matter that i got beat that moment typified my 360 experiance.got beat but had a great laugh trying.
ive been in a few clans like jamie has listed and enjoyed my time in all of them EVEN TLS.but its more than gaming nights its more like meeting your mates down the pub for a night out and a laugh.even the arguments we all have is no differnt than being out with your mates.i do like the banter i have with you all even jamie who follows me round like a clan whore im sure there are many more of these to come in the years ahead.5 years on still meeting new frends online and comeing up with new insults for our less fortunate amreican cousions.

Can't remember when we first got a 360, other than it was Christmas day, and the only game we had was Pro Evo 2006, Louis Saha was an absolute beast on that game. I'd only vaguely heard of online gaming before and decided to try it, first match I ever played online was Liverpool (me) vs Barcelona, the person was driving me mental all the way through the match, saying "Ahh you're shit, you're fucking shit" on a seemingly continuous loop. I was 1-0 down at 80 mins, took the lead on 85 an laughed my arse off into the headset- looked a tit when they equalised on 89, they repeated my laugh. So I did the only thing I could think of, gave the ball to Gerrard and walked through them to score and win 3-2, signing off with "I think you're right, I AM fucking shit". That was also the month I found out that we had a download limit on our broadband  
Fairly swiftly I experienced the red ring of death, having enjoyed offline co-op on army of two, and discovering how woeful I am at first person shooters; I sent it off to be repaired, and while I was waiting for it to return, I got my annual bonus, and the Ps3 looked really shiney... The Xbox didn't get touched for years while I discovered FIFA for the first time since the N64, loved how beautiful FFX was (although nowhere near as enjoyable as FFIX) and enjoyed Heavy Rain on its release day, but my flow was ruined by PSN going down the next day, and I still haven't completed it. Also maintained the record of buying every CoD, despite being woeful at it- but great fun finishing night shifts and then joining everyone for death matches when you're all as knackered as each other.
Went back to the Xbox after a guy on days kept pestering me to so he could beat me on FIFA (after my two 4-3 victories over him, he strangely disappeared from my friends list). I was blown away by Child of Eden with the Kinect, spent ages 'playing' on UFC trainer but still spent most of my time playing FIFA- particularly BAP mode. I was playing drop ins until the early hours most mornings, but getting really frustrated with the lack of passing, and the annoying little gobshites playing their music in the background, so having seen that clubs existed, put a 'come and get me' post on the EA forums.
I got two responses, one from Nasty Neil, and one from some guy in charge of a 'manual club' who still messages me on XBL from time to time. Signed up with CoG, then had to message my younger to ask him what a clan was as I'd never heard of clan gaming- I was so green with online gaming, I didn't even know you could join in with a party, thought you had to be invited! Made my WGL debut against FWG shortly after, scoring just before half time in one match. Within 7 weeks, CoG folded, and I decided to try for a new clan, getting and offer from Craig for here, and from the Wombles.
Since joining, despite mainly playing FIFA, I've enjoyed my gaming more than ever before, whether we win or lose, have an evening highlighting Sean's tendency to be a touch offside, listening to Reece's jokes, Liam singing Katy Perry songs, spending the occasional night pissing about on it (remember playing with Casey and Grant, and Grants scoring a volley from a rainbow flick straight from kickoff) beating Jamie in the semi final of our 1v1 tournament, only to lose to Wheeto in the final, and even picking up other games from time to time- Farcry 3 is one of my favourite ever, and without being here, I doubt I'd have ever thought of picking it up, particularly enjoyed the multiplayer with Chris, Casey and a few others, making sure Chris had plenty of practice with reviving!!
So that's my abridged history from this generation. It's a shame the new gen will divide us in one way or another, as its been great, and much as I spend most of my time in parties silent, I really enjoy them, and I'm more chatty with you lot than I am in the outside world, so Thank You.

One more memory based around the clan, but not around gaming, that was rather nice, after my second child was born Sean was the first person to congratulate Hannah and me- even beating my family- so not strictly a gaming memory, but a nice way (I think) to round off a comment about this generation, and the clan.

There has been many, to be sure, and having been here only 5 minutes and not having many to draw on, that FIFA win against all the odds was pretty epic.

but i think the one i will "submit" would be back in the final game in the final season MWG had in the WGL BF3 4v4 league. We were getting absolutely panned. So, on the last round, which was rush, with us attacking, we decided to do a team "worm". arse to nose, crawling in prone. and see how far we got.

nearly made it into their base too.

thankfully, the other team were good sports and their reaction was nothing short of hilarious. a good reminder of how great the WGL used to be, and a shame that it got too tryhardy

There's so many memorable events it's hard to narrow it down to just one.

However, for the ultimate "cool" factor one particular moment springs to mind. We played a 6v6 WGL MM game against RATS on Black Ops 1 back in the day and it was one of those fairly epic games. A lot of back and forth, a lot of narrow wins on rounds etc.

That in itself was memorable for just how good a game it was but the "cool" part came after. RATS were dab hands at video editing and put together an incredible MWG:GG vs RATS piece with little tactics round ups and loads of clips etc. It made us all look awesome too! Love it. Shame those boys disappeared really.

Daz your  for mentioning the RATS clan, I still have nightmares about the 1st live streamed match on the WGL against them. I think the match only lasted about 10mins, I remember non of us running with Flak Jacket and all running around the corner only to be grenade

Ok well for me I haven't been gaming with you guys much but the few times I've played have been amazing.

I'll keep this short and sweet, really enjoyed the days of GOW with TLS... I was awful at it but have fond memories of the few times I got kills and headshots with the sniper.

Another I guess would be playing a Search & Destroy clan match with TLS, only played like 1 and I remember the level being Crash. One round it was just me left with my trusty silenced MP5, I made the mistake of checking who was alive and realised it was just me... I bottled it, got killed trying to flank a bomb site :/

Last one would be Modern Warfare 2, I had just invested in a lovely pair of Turtle Beach headphones when they were just emerging on the market. My first game with them it was the final round of S&D on highrise.. I had my Scar with silencer and the n00b display, 1 other person alive and I was walking by the elevators. Then I heard it ::Crack:: he jumped off the elevators, it happened in slow motion but I turned around and started hip firing.....after about half a clip he was dead and we had won the game :)god knows why I remember those particular moments but I assume it just reminds me of the good times playing games with some great people.

I got 1 more story but it's on PC DayZ, I can tell you it but only if you guys are really interested lol.

Some great responses in here and its made for really enjoyable reading. I think we will keep this open till the end of the week and then look to draw a winner over the weekend.

Those little words are-

Another story which I've just remembered... The only time I can ever recall this ever happening in this game.

Successfully defending the package on Calypso Casino. Hopefully you know what I'm talking about here but for people who don't its Rainbow Six Vegas, Calypso Casino is the stage and the package is held in a vault at the basement of the level. It was nigh on impossible to successfully defend and it was an unwritten rule that no-one cashes the package until the dying seconds of the game as it was THAT unbalanced.

Me and 2 of my friends were all based in the basement... 3 v 5/6 (cannot remember the max number a team could have) we pretty much camped in the basement, me and 1 friend guarded the Escalators whilst the other used the camera and C4 to protect the backstairs.

The rounds lasted forever, swarms of enemies charging down the escalators to be met with death by MTAR. The back stairs was untouchable, C4 protecting that route... We were always on stand by at each post in case one of us got killed. 1 by 1 enemies raced down the escalators only to meet their demise..... There we were, just patiently waiting for them to continue their onslaught, mags full, flashbangs at the ready.. Safely in cover waiting for them. :bang bang bang: thats all it took, communicating all the time of actions.. "RELOADING" cackled over the crappy xbox mic, time to watch my comrades back. After a lifetime the game had ended. We won! I have never felt sense of achievement like it, surely one for the CV

To this day it is still discussed between us often jokingly shouting "BACKSTAIRS!!" And we instantly recollect that momentous game :)and it reminds me so much of what online gaming is all about, gaming with friends and having fun playing as a team.
