EGX 2014 tickets go on sale today (2/4/14)

If you are a Virgin Media or Mobile customer then you can get your tickets at a discounted rate due to them being a major partner of the event.

Its worth booking early - I believe the early tickets for Saturday are selling out fast.

Myself and Waylander are going and will be there on the Friday and Saturday so if anyone else is planning on visiting then it would be great to meet up with you

We also have early access tickets which are £8.50 per day (using VM discount)

I'll be there.

i know Craig, I was all for leaving it this year. Then they annouced the tickets and I saw the VM rates and the pull was just too much

I just went on to buy mine and the Virgin ticket option isn't there? Have they already sold out!?!

Don't know about VM tickets but both Saturday and Sunday early entry have sold out. Went to book my ticket at lunchtime and none left. Got a normal ticket instead.

Chris/Shaun before I book a room are you heading home on the Saturday or staying over and going back Sunday?

Trying to keep the weekend as cheap as possible this year mate, so likely to head back on the Saturday. We will be about Friday night but don't plan on a session like previous years!

I booked ours yesterday lunchtime and the early access via VM were already showing as low availability.

Either they have trimmed down the allocation of early access compared to last year or popularity is through the roof!

Touts I reckon, as the event has become more and more popular over the years.

Ah well, tickets purchased anyway for my fourth EG Expo!

No worries I might stay down Saturday night anyway.

According to their Twitter feed there were the same amount of tickets this year but sales 'went through the roof'.

That wouldn't surprise me Daz. Last years tickets sold for a fair bit more than face value on ebay once the new console were announced for the show. A few may be speculating on making a few quid again this year

Last year VM put more tickets up near the time so I am hoping the doing again this year seeing as Sat/Sun are all ready sold out for VM tickets.

When last year on the Sun got a hoodie for £10 as it was the last day. So looking to go on the Sun this year as well & hoping to get more stuff cheap.
