Dead Space Ignition launches 13th October for 400 points

Hours before engineer Isaac Clarke begins his adventure on "The Sprawl" in Dead Space 2, a Necromorph outbreak occurs -- but how did the events unfold? Players witness the horror first-hand in Dead Space Ignition, a downloadable game that takes place on the Sprawl and challenges players to survive the initial Necromorph outbreak.

Dead Space Ignition combines an interactive comic-style story with three unique hacking mini games; Hardware Crack, Trace Route and System Override. Each game offers a fun and satisfying arcade experience that will challenge players with puzzles and twitch gameplay. Dead Space Ignition features a unique "Choose Your Own Adventure" type narrative, allowing players to survive the horrific Necromorph outbreak in multiple ways. The game offers four unique endings and upon completion of each one, players will be rewarded with unlocks including an exclusive suit, all of which can be used by Isaac Clarke in Dead Space 2.








The game is being released for both 360 & PS3 with the 360 launch date confirmed as 13th October on Eurogamer. Sounds interesting and if you were a fan of the first game and are eying up the second it could be a measly 400 points well spent.

Despite not really enjoying Dead Rising Case Zero a great deal, I do quite like this apparent new trend of launching prequel games/self contained demo's for such a low price IF it has a few fun achievements to chase that encourage multiple playthroughs and offers some bonuses etc to carry over into the full game as a thank you

Seeing DS2 in motion at the Expo, it didnt look a great deal different to the first game which might just be a good thing for fans of the game.

So, is anyone interested in this and/or Dead Space 2?

ive not played 1 but may get round to it eventually this will be a miss for me for now

Really enjoyed dead space and cant wait for this, it still stand as one of only two games that managed to shit me up. the othet being The Suffering

I tried twice to get into the first one but am not the best as survival horror.

I'm with Tom on this! Deadspace for me is still one of the best games i've played on the XBOX yet. Real edge of the seat stuff where you cant just blast your way through the game. May well have a look into this but will def be buying Deadspace 2 when released.
