EA splits NFS in two....hits the spam button......

In an interview with EA's Patrick Soderlund, the Senior VP of Europe confirms, among other details, that two Need For Speed games will be produced every year - an action title towards Christmas and a more serious simulation in the middle of the year "when the time is right".

Ohhhh dear.....

FAIL!!!!!!!!!!

This means they will not concentrate on them properly and will be as buggy as shit when released.

They'll be doing a CoD style thing, having to team develop seperatley...the guy's who did Shift doing the sim while Criterion or similar will handle the arcade game

avoid the sim then. if anyone hasnt played shift - it was horrendous unless you tweaked the hell out of the tuning and one of the settings did the opposite of what it said. shift was a sad sad day for nfs

I love Shift.....it did completely split opinion but I much prefered the sim stylings
