Forza 3 goes back to the Eighties
Taken from Eurogamer
Cars made famous by cult movies Ferris Bueller's Day Off and Back to the Future are included in a Forza 3 downloadable pack due out next week.
The Community Choice Classics Car Pack includes 10 iconic cars decided by a vote from Forza fans and Jalopnik readers.
The list of cars in full:
1971 AMC Javelin-AMX
1973 BMW Motorsport 2002 Turbo
1970 Chevrolet El Camino SS 454
1971 De Tomaso Pantera
1982 DeLorean DMC-12
1987 Ford Sierra RS500 Cosworth
1990 Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.5-16 Evolution II
1978 Saab 99 Turbo
1983 Volvo 242 Turbo Evolution
1957 Ferrari 250 California
That Ferrari 250 California was in cult teen movie Ferris Bueller's Day Off. The DeLorean DMC-12 needs no introduction.
The pack will launch on 14 December for 400 Microsoft Points.
Meanwhile, from 20th to 26th December, Xbox Live Gold subscribers will get exclusive Deal of the Week pricing on select Forza 3 car packs, which will all be discounted by 50 per cent.
I quite like the look of this pack and will prob pick it up - def. for the Cosworth & the Volvo 242 - they will help swell out the roster of classic rally cars in the game

At which point, the screen goes fuzzy and you find yourself playing Forza 1 lol
I wonder if the Delorean is easy to paint....

Re: Forza 3 goes back to the Eighties
The Escort Cossie was on the list of cars to be voted on but didnt make it this time. According to the FM3 forums it prob wil be released at some point along with the Starion
The full list of the final 15 cars can be found here:

I'm gutted the Alfa 037 didnt make this DLC pack but it was included in the recent Ultimate Edition so hopefully they release it to the rest of the community soon.
