Hey gamers who have been waiting for gears of war 3, well we have some great news. The epic team has been running on all cylinders to get you the Gears of War 3 Beta for February 22, 2011. The Gears of War 3 beta will be released along with the long awaiting of BULLETSTORM. Oh yeah it looks like the month of February for 2011 will be lots of fun.

“Epic is poised to break new ground in 2011 with Gears of War 3 andBulletstorm,” said Dr. Michael Capps, president of Epic Games. “With these two highly anticipated triple-A experiences comes a unique opportunity to do something to really excite players, and that’s what we intend to accomplish with the support of Microsoft Game Studios and EA. This is for the shooter fans.”

Damn, might have to try and scrape the cash together for Bulletstorm. Have Epic given any ideas as to what will ship the beta? If its purely competitive MP then I am not sure if I would lose much sleep about trying it. If they were willing to throw in a few waves of horde/beast - even the little we got to try @ Eurogamer then it will be a definite Wink

Currently no details Chris but knowing Epic you'll get a suprise or two.

The only way in as it stands is with a copy of Bulletstorm but I'd expect the beta to open up eventually.
