FIFA 14 Ultimate Team: World Cup brings 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil to FIFA 14’s most popular game mode, and is a free update coming next week.



The World Cup addition for FIFA 14 Ultimate Team will be available on May 29 for PC, PlayStation 3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

It’s a separate mode within FIFA Ultimate Team and allows users to add 32 National Teams which will be attending this summer’s tournament in Brazil.

FUT World Cup features all 32 National Team crests, the official adidas Brazuca match ball, National Team kits, the Estadio do Marcana stadium, and “all new look and feel within FIFA 14 Ultimate Team.”

Users can acquire new players and consumables from special Packs in the FIFA 14 Ultimate Team: World Cup Store, and every FUT World Cup Pack includes a free Gold Pack available for use in the traditional FIFA 14 Ultimate Team.

Ultimate Team fans can participate in online and single-player tournament modes, compete through the group stage and knockout phases, and by winning matches, players will earn in-game virtual coins that can be used to acquire packs in the World Cup Store.

mind you, the video shows the buying of a pack and it doesnt show fifa points as an option to buy

To ensure the best possible experience, we have decided to delay the launch of FIFA 14 Ultimate Team: World Cup (PC/PS3/PS4/360/XB1) and the World Cup Kick-Off mode (XB1/PS4).

Knowing that our players have been so excited for these new modes made it a tough decision. However, as we progressed through final testing we encountered unforeseen issues that would affect all users who downloaded the update, so it’s important to address them first before release.

Our team is currently working hard to have the update ready to release in the coming days.
