Netflix heading to the UK
Netflix has confirmed rumours that it is to launch its popular media streaming service in the UK and Ireland in "early 2012".
Already available In the US, Netflix allows users to sift through 1000s of movies and TV shows and stream an unlimited amount of them through a broadband connection for a monthly subscription fee.
The service is available via a range of consumer electronics devices including Xbox 360, PS3, Wii and 3DS, as well as on PCs, Macs, tablets and phones.
Netflix said further details about the UK service, including pricing, content and supported devices, will be announced closer to launch.
