First Game of Thrones Screenshots

Game of Thrones is HBO's newest hit. Based off of George R.R. Martin's book series A Song of Ice and Fire, the show was picked up for a second season just two days after the pilot episode premiered. It includes a large cast of varying characters, an intriguing setting, and a dramatic storyline that features both elements of fantasy and medieval politics. So room to turn the franchise into a video game was always there. As we covered days ago, a video game adaptation is now in development.

Developer Atlus released the first quartet of screens for the game.









The developers are calling it an action RPG with a unique storyline supervised by Martin himself. You can look for the game sometime in early 2012.

Looks interesting, and with Mass Effect 3 and Kingdoms of Armalur 2012 could be a good year for RPG's

Does look good. Games that spin off of tv can sometimes be a big let down though. Will keep an eye on this but early 2012 is gonna be all about ME3 for me

Is this the second game of thrones game then. If so thank goodness as the first one was apparently utter crap. Im sure it was an rts style game released recently

Agree with Rigor that not all crossovers work well but if the author is having a hand in the plot etc then that can only be a good thing
