Ah, the Carmine family. What bad luck they keep facing, having to bury their own every time Cliffy B. makes a new game. But you, yes you, can put an end to that bad luck with the powers of the almighty dollar.

Fans of the Gears of War franchise already know of the Carmine family, with members Anthony and Benjamin playing supporting roles in Gears of War and Gears of War 2 respectively. Like some kind of sick joke, both bit players met an early end at some point during each game. Clayon Carmine is set to appear in the upcoming Gears of War 3, but unlike his predecessors, he can be saved from his unfortunate fate. Those who buy either shirt seen above will put their vote towards the decision; purchase the "Save Carmine" shirt to vote life, and "Carmine Must Die" if you want there to be blood.

Those worried that this is all just some kind of evil Microsoft scam to get your money have nothing to fear, as all proceeds will go towards the quite lovely Child's Play charity. The Penny Arcade run charity has been long praised for providing video games and toys to hospitals around the country.

Voting will begin July 29.
