E3 2012: Predictions for Microsoft press conference
Yesterday I took a look at the possible announcments coming out of Sony's press conference, Today it's the turn of Microsoft.
E3 2011 was a pretty lacklustre one for Microsoft (despite the PS3 hacking debacle) the company decided to focus on "family friendly" Kinect titles rather than the hardcore games they had become known for infact the only really notable announcment was that of Halo 4....2012 is looking to be almost the same but with a better balance towards the hardcore...
It's likely we will see an announcment that the next Xbox is coming though I doubt we will see much more than a few tech demos with the outside chance that the next Gears announcment may be for the new console.
There is almost certain to be a swathe of new Kinect announcments both hardcore and family friendly aswell as the possible announcment that the next console will come with Kinect 2.0 built in.
Halo 4 is certain to be a big shower during the show and expect the veil to finally be lifted on Halo: Infinity (The multiplayer aspect of Halo 4) As well as an announcment regarding a beta for the game.
As always the spring update for the dashboard should be announced although don't expect any huge changes this year, It's likely things will be rejigged for easier access aswell as making it easier for controller navigation.
Forza: Horizon will be unvieled and solid rumors that it will be an open world sim should prove true.
GTAV is likely to be shown during Microsoft's conference along with the announcment that DLC will be timed exclusive for the 360 and that the game will be due in 2013.
Black Ops II will also be announcing timed exclusive DLC plus a first look at multiplayer.
A replacment for "Inside Xbox" should be unvieled after it was scraped last month along with the announcment of many more entertainment apps, It's possible that Skype might also be announced here.
It's possible that we might also see how the 360 is set to be intergrated with Windows 8 and the latest Windows phones.
Strong rumors also suggest that a new IP will be announced from Microsoft Game Studios along with a possible showing of a new PGR title.
I would also expect a swathe of games to get their first showing during the conference as well as a few new announcments.
Come back tomorrow for Nintendo's predictions!

I quite like my Nokia Lumia 800 so Im really interested to see what sort of integration they are going to come up with for Windows Phones.
A new PGR title? Yes fucking please just make sure its better than number 4
Timed exclusive DLC =

Not much in the way of truth here showing just how bad E3 was for M$, We saw Halo, Windows 8 intergration, some Kinect titles and a small dashboard update but very little in the way of big news......
