E3 2012: Dead Island: Riptide announced

Techland is keeping hush on everything apart from the title for now, but this is a full-fat standalone instalment, so expect certain features to return bigger and better: like four-man multiplayer, character classes, weapon-crafting and tons of pasty-skinned zombies slow, fast, and bloated. And, presumably, a beautiful new island ripe for the bloodying up.

Riptide will launch on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, and is set for an extensive reveal by publishers Deep Silver "this summer", presumably with another outrageously emotional trailer.
