Mass Effect 2 triumphs at the Golden Joysticks...
The 27th annual Golden Joystick awards took place on Friday 29th of October 2010, in London. Bioware’s Mass Effect 2 reigned supreme, taking home the Ultimate Game of the Year and RPG of the year awards.
Mass Effect 2 and Plant vs Zombies were the only titles to claim two awards on the night, but Bioware’s RPG giant claimed the coveted accolade on offer during the evening when Mass Effect 2 was named the Ultimate Game of 2010.
The Call of Duty series also had a rewarding evening with the upcoming Black Ops winning the One to Watch honour and Modern Warfare 2 took home the prize for Best Shooter.
In other categories, Super Street Fighter IV won best Fighting Game, Forza Motorsport 3 won best Racing game and Square-Enix’s Final Fantasy XIII snapped up the Best Soundtrack award.

Well deserved for ME2 imo. AC2 did well too and deservedly so
