E3 2014

I would love to see an F1 game to Slowy, fingers crossed. I will buy FIFA, GTA, Halo and will probably get sucked in to buy Cod as well. I say every year I wont but I know I will

It'll be a tough choice between DriveClub and ProjectCARS (can't afford both).

I've signed up for the Destiny alpha,but after reading that it's like a faster Halo I'm not getting my hopes up (probably be a great game for those that like Halo,but I hate Halo).

GTAV I'll probably pick up (one of the only single player games I miss playing). BF Hardline day one,as will Rainbow 6.

I've watched a few of the videos of the Alpha build and to me the world looks a little empty, it in Alpha so hopefully the final release will look alittle more alive.

It does look nice, The Order 1886 looks very very impressive too, have a look at the hands on gameplay footage, cutscene to gameplay back to cutscene and you can't see the differance.

I was hoping for a PS4 price drop announcement, sub £300 would be nice. There's a few good looking exclusives coming to PS4 soon

The Order 1886

Driveclub looks very nice indeed but Project Cars looks fantastic - watching the snippets of the racing on a rain sodden track was eye opening. I wouldnt mind taking a crack at both games tbh.

Can get one with infamous for £339 @ base. And infamous is pretty sweet.
Im sure ill get FH2.. and drive club.. and Project cars.. and get irritated that none work with me wheel. (although I have ordered a Controller Max which i think has some wheel support)

It seems Driveclub will now be lacking weather effects until an update for the game is released further down the line.

Was very interesting to see that Forza Horizon is going to be ready before Driveclub too.

I must say the PS4 didn't impress me quite as much as the X1 lineup however both systems still seem to be somewhat lacking 1st party wise....

The biggest games for me tended to be the 3rd party titles....

But adding a game you want will take it upto ~£380. Will wait and see what deals are being done on the DriveClub bundle or Xmas deals/bundles.

From the gameplay footage I've seen DriveClub looks the better IMO. You can also add The Crew into the genre too, how many "social" driving games will people need?

Yeah if there's nothing you fancy then clearly its not going to go up in price

Anyone tried the BF headline beta yet? I quite enjoyed the bit I played. Will be trying the Destiny Alpha at some point over the weekend

Tried density last night. Pretty... Big.. didnt blow me away in terms of gameplay though.. very borderlands I guess... Still alpha though so.. the pre order remains

Didnt get a hardline code so not tried it.. heard mixed things.. the most common is how meh it looks - which is odd.. cos bf4 looks pretty :S

Not tried Hardline as no code,but got a code for Destiny so will try it later.

"Very Borderlands" is that a bad thing? Borderlands is great    I've watched the Alpha gameplay and the world doesn't look very "alive" might be the footage I've watched or could be that it's still in alpha, and the voice acting in SP and MP are aweful I hope they are changed. Preordered XB1 or PS4 version Homer.

Battlefield Hardline, I've played it and it does look extremely meh and extremely lifeless but the gameplay I found was fine, only had a couple of games but what I played I enjoyed. Not pre-ordering it though, not after the BF4 fiasco, it's going to have to be on the shelf, tried and tested, and rubber stamped before I purchase.

Well I liked borderlands - but I maybe overdid it - cos by BL2 it was more Boredoflands.

Yeah the world felt a little empty, but its an alpha so.... Its the PS4 version i've ordered.

Why is everyone so bothered about scripts and acting these days ? A lots of the complaints I heard about bound by flame were the acting/script sucked. Its nice to have a good script/acting for sure (mmmm Grim Fandango) but its not the end of the world. Not a deal breaker. Theres for more irritating things about BBF than the acting (and most of them pissed my off in dark souls also)

Generally its not a problem but the two in Destiny are crap. The ghost in Destiny is voiced by the little chap out of GoT but he's voiced it far too dry and sounds like he's just reading it, bored shitless from a script. If thats how its voiced in the final game lets just hope theres an option to turn him off. And the multiplayer commentary has to be a placing for now as it just doesn't sound right.

Well, The Crew looks shit.

Ive not really paid any mind to the crew..Ill likely get FH2, drive club I get a taster off with PS+ and project cars is almost a given - Though im still wondering where any info on how it actually plays cos im still not sold.
So the crew is bottom of the pile for racing games for me
