Battlefield 3 Aftermath DLC details arrive
Even though much of the focus on EA and DICE's Battlefield franchise has been on the news of Battlefield 4 as of late, both the developer and publisher would like to remind you there's still a whole slate of DLC planned for Battlefield 3. Case in point, the December-arriving "Aftermath" pack, which puts the action back into a crowded urban setting.
First and foremost, "Aftermath" will come with four new maps set in Tehran. The action will all be happening post-earthquake, which should make for some rather interesting layouts, crevices, and deadly corridors. Players will have to "adapt and engage in vertical and horizontal urban combat amongst the dust and rubble with cracks and fissures in the terrain providing unexpected cover and paths to objectives."
"Aftermath" also promises to add new modified civilian and military vehicles, which should be more properly suited for the kind of urban combat the DLC is based around. New achievements, dog tags, and assignments will also appear, as will a new game mode. Unfortunately, EA didn't say what this new mode entailed.
As with September's "Armored Kill," EA has not revealed an exact date or price for the stand-alone version of "Aftermath," though Battlefield Premium subscribers will still enjoy the content before anyone else. There's certainly plenty of time for EA to release more pertinent information since this DLC isn't due until December, but it would be nice to get an idea of what the publisher plans to charge non-subscribers for these content packs.

Great so for a game with a high level of destructable environments, they make maps that have already been pre destroyed by an earthquake
